Rafat Rezwan’s Mobile Phone Video Exposed Israel

Rafat Rezwan’s mobile phone video exposed Israel. a convoy of first responders and aid workers in Gaza being fired upon, contradicting the initial claims made by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) about a deadly strike on March 23 that left 15 dead.

The IDF had initially stated that the vehicles were advancing suspiciously toward their troops without headlights or emergency signals. They also claimed to have killed a Hamas operative and eight other militants during the operation.

However, the video, which was recovered from the cell phone of Rifat Radwan, a Palestinian paramedic killed in the incident, shows the vehicles moving with their headlights on and lights flashing, with some people even wearing reflective gear, before coming under fire.

In response, the IDF has stated that the incident is under thorough examination. Under the Geneva Convention, it is considered a war crime to knowingly fire at medics wearing clear insignia.

An Israeli military official also mentioned that Hamas has previously used ambulances or similar vehicles to transport militants. The UN, however, maintains that these aid workers and first responders were killed while trying to save lives and is demanding answers and justice.
