Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states are firmly committed to supporting global anti-corruption initiatives, affirmed Kuwait’s Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Vienna, who also chairs the Council of GCC Ambassadors in Vienna.
The Ambassador announced this stance during the Council’s recent regular meeting, emphasizing the bloc’s unified dedication to combating corruption as a fundamental pillar of regional stability and good governance.
This declaration underscores the GCC’s proactive engagement in aligning with international frameworks to promote transparency and accountability.
During the meeting, the GCC Ambassadors Council held substantive discussions with the President of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA).
The Ambassador highlighted the productive nature of the dialogue, which focused on enhancing cooperation mechanisms and exploring avenues for joint training and capacity-building programs.
This collaboration with IACA reflects the GCC’s strategic approach to strengthening institutional integrity and reinforcing its role within the global fight against corruption.
